Get the VIP Treatment this Boutique Wine Festival
The Boutique Wine Festival is on its way back to Auckland this September 4th and 5th with exclusive benefits available to VIP ticket holders.
After a literal non-event in 2020 due to Covid, the Boutique Wine Festival will be making its triumphant return in 2021. Taking place September 4th and 5th at Generator @GridAKL in Auckland's Wynyard Quarter, the festival will be hot on the heels of yet another win for the Boutique Wine Festival, it's first-ever Wellington appearance during the VISA Wellington on a Plate festival.
Craft’d Events CEO Sue Duncan says that when she purchased the festival in 2017, one of her long-term goals was to bring the festival to Wellington. That goal has now been accomplished with the Welly Boutique Wine Festival included in the line-up for Visa Wellington On A Plate 2021, which is held throughout August.
Just as with the Wellington festival, punters in Auckland can expect over 20 of New Zealand's best small wineries, each with at least 4 wines to taste. Additionally, dish's own Drinks Editor Yvonne Lorkin, along with other wine experts, will be hosting 3 FREE masterclasses to help you improve your wine knowledge.
Alongside the incredible wine offerings, ticket-goers will be able to dine from some of Auckland's favourite food trucks as well as white wine and red wine cheese platters while enjoying live music throughout the day.
For a truly indulgent experience however, VIP ticket holders will enjoy all the benefits of general admission plus access to the VIP lounge, hosted by the resident sommelier. There you can lap it up with an all-day grazing station and exclusive 'cellared' wines.
