Wellington on a Plate
New Zealand's largest culinary festival, VISA Wellington on a Plate is back for its fifth year this August.
August can feel like one of the longest months in the New Zealand calendar, situated slap-bang in the middle of winter. Wellington on a Plate has been remedying this for the past five years, by making the half the month a celebration of going out to get indoors and eat good food.
There are over 100 food and beverage events running between the 15th - 31st August, from festival favourite Beervana, Garage Project's Burger Wellington competition and the MiNDFOOD Wellington On a Plate and Producer Awards.
Throughout the two weeks over 100 Wellington restaurants will be offering unique menus as part of DINE Wellington to continue the festival spirit.
