The top five were chosen from 164 recipients of the 2014 Beef and Lamb Excellence Award.
The 2014 Ambassador Chefs are:
· Ben Batterbury, True South Dining Room at the Rees Hotel, Queenstown
· Scott Kennedy, Nero Restaurant, Palmerston North
· Mikey Newlands, Bracu, Auckland
· Ryan Tattersall, Cobar Restaurant, Wellington
· Darren Wright, Chillingworth Road, Christchurch
The public will be able to see the Ambassador chefs in action at cooking demonstrations to be held around the country during the year. There will also be the opportunity to attend special events at each of the chefs’ restaurants.
