A beautifully designed kitchen is a thing of wonder. Be inspired by three iconic home appliance brands on the market with the opening of UnserHaus (German for “our house”); the new home of Bosch, Gaggenau and NEFF home appliances in Parnell, Auckland. UnserHaus is an impressive 720sqm of space dedicated to showcasing the latest in innovative home appliance technology from these three high-quality German brands.
The consumer centric space allows you to find the right solution and products for your specific kitchen needs, in a destination that celebrates the love of food and the culture that comes with it. The space is also used for as a training facility and venue for events, workshops, talks and master classes.
Leading from the UnserHaus grand reception area with a Patagonian stone lit bench, each individual brand has its own interactive space to immerse yourself in the design philosophy, culture and products of each individual brand.
The luxury Gaggenau space includes a full working kitchen seating 10, showcasing its renowned portfolio integrated among state-of-the-art finishes and kitchen design. On show is the largest Eggersmann unique stone kitchen in the Southern Hemisphere. In stark contrast to the luxury finishes, the rawness of the wood within the showroom is inspired by Gaggenau’s birthplace of the Black Forest area in Germany 335 years ago.
For serious wine aficionados, the latest in Gaggenau wine storage can be viewed within a dedicated area that understands the need for precision cooling while showcasing a collection.
Move on to the NEFF kitchen area and you’ll find a design fit for a Paris or New York loft kitchen, complete with a dining table for 10-12 people. NEFF is a brand dedicated to those who simply love cooking, whilst showcasing NEFF's innovative technology like its space saving Slide&Hide oven door. And in the Bosch room, you’ll find a dedicated training facility with seating for up to 18 people providing the ability for attendees to truly understand and experience the brand’s ease of cooking.
UnserHaus has been 10 years in the making, “and is the first space of its kind for BSH New Zealand,” says Darryl Robinson, managing director of BSH Home Appliances. “The desire and vision for it has always been about providing the consumer with a journey, to ultimately choose the right products for the right space in their home, at the right time in their lives. UnserHaus has been a collaboration of local New Zealand designers, craftsmen and artists alongside these iconic brands to showcase world class products within the New Zealand lifestyle”.
