It's official: we've won best magazine in New Zealand!

We're so excited to share that we've won the Webstar Award for Best Magazine (home, food and lifestyle category), People's Choice, and Supreme Magazine of the Year at the 2020 Webstar Magazine Media awards.

Last Friday evening we attended the Webstar Magazine Media awards in Auckland. It has been a tough year all round, so the event was packed with magazine media ready to shake off some of the 2020 blues. We are incredibly proud to report that dish not only won the Webstar Award for Best Magazine (home, food and lifestyle category), but also the two biggies of the night - the People's Choice, and the Supreme Magazine of the Year awards.

As you know we are a small fiercely passionate team, so this was a wonderful acknowledgement of the work we have put in this year to keep delivering the best content possible to you – our readers. A huge thanks to you for supporting us by buying the magazine, sending in feedback and being an extended part of the dish family – it was your voting that saw us take home the People’s Choice award, and we are incredibly grateful.

Here’s what the judges had to say:

It sneaked in under the wire with a Home Comforts issue full of food that was spot on for locked down Kiwis … and then delivered spot-on email missives throughout the lockdown to back it up.
