From Hawke’s Bay Wine and Il Pirata comes a delightful afternoon of food and wine pairing. This relaxed event will share some of Hawke's Bay's lesser-known wines in a fabulous location with matched plates, with lashings of fun and laughter on the side.
Running every Sunday in June, A-Fun-Do is the perfect way to cap off your weekend in comfort and style. Fondue is the perfect winter warmer and these evenings at The Urban Winery will warm the soul and indulge those senses; the perfect chance to indulge in cheese fondue, cured meats and crudités, mulled wine, soulful music and some more wine.
The private Hawke’s Bay Club invites you to this special wine tasting with award-winning Hawke’s Bay winery Petane. During this three-hour event, you will taste five Petane wines, each with their own food match made of delicious local Hawke’s Bay produce.
A dinner collaboration event from orchard and paddock to plate. This four-course dinner will showcase the very best local producers and suppliers alongside four cider pairings from the local cidery Paynters. This event this will be a true taste of Hawke’s Bay provenance and will leave you with no doubt in your mind that cider isn't ‘just a summer beverage’.
Escape winter when you step through the doors of Central Fire Station Bistro and into the laidback beach atmosphere of Club Tropicana. For two nights during June, Central Fire Station will transport you straight to the land of longboards and ukuleles, serving colourful rum-laden cocktails using phenomenal local produce. A walk up event that you don’t need tickets for, just your appetite.
Prepare your appetite for this one as Moana Park Winery and Buffalo Bill serve up a three course lunch comprised of fabulous food and decadent wine. Cheese and mulled wine, three courses of delicious backyard BBQ fare, spectacular views and talented live musicians – this event is everything that’s great about Hawke’s Bay, Food and Wine Country.
Winter F.A.W.C! is all about hearty fare, warming red wines fireside and moments of culinary magic by Hawke’s Bay’s talented chefs and foodies, award-winning winemakers and artisan brewers. It runs across the four weekends in June, providing ample opportunity to get involved.
