Spice up Your Meals with Ease this Summer
Looking for easy lunch or dinner inspiration this summer? Whether you’re camping, at the bach or enjoying a staycation at home, the Cassia at Home curry sauces by chef Sid Sahrawat are a sure-fire way to impress with minimal effort and maximum flavour.
Launched in November 2020, the Cassia at Home sauce range contains three simmer sauces which make cooking a breeze – simply cook your protein, add the sauce, heat and serve. The sauces come in a three pack (one of each or mixed pack) and are gluten and dairy free, vegan friendly and contain no artificial flavours or colours.
Korma
There’s a reason this delicately mild curry is one of the most popular in the world, the Cassia at Home Korma is a deliciously thick sauce with almonds and cardamom that will leave you wanting more. Perfect with fish, chicken, paneer, lamb and vegetables. You can even use it as a dip with naan or flatbreads.
Makhani
A medium spiced “butter chicken” sauce made with cashews instead of dairy for the ultimate velvety finish. Makhani sauce pairs perfectly with chicken, paneer, vegetables, beef, lamb and seafood.
Karahi
This spicy tomato-based curry sauce will be sure to tickle your tastebuds. The Karahi sauce has a thick and chunky texture as it isn’t blitzed. It pairs perfectly with chicken, beef, lamb and vegetables and coconut milk can be added to reduce the spice heat.
All sauces are:
- Gluten Free
- Dairy Free
- Vegan Friendly
- No artificial flavours or colours added
- 4-month shelf life
- 500 ml jars, serves 4 people for a meal
- Easy to use, simply open the jar, cook your favourite protein and then add the sauce to warm it up. Loosen the sauce (if desired) using coconut milk, water or cream if you wish to change the consistency.
- Made locally in Auckland using the same recipe that is used in the Cassia kitchen.
