21st Kaikoura Seafest
A celebration of Kaikoura’s abundant seafood, alongside food from Marlborough and North Canterbury. Enjoy great food and cooking demonstrations as well as regional wines and craft beers and live music.
Held on the first Saturday of October each year, the Kaikoura Seafest is celebrating it's 21st birthday this year.
The festival is a taste, sight & sound extravaganza for those who enjoy good food, good company and a good time. Festival stalls offer an abundant variety of food and beverage as well as live entertainment on the Big Top stage throughout the day.
Seafest has become known as a festival that braves the elements. A huge centre marquee means festival–goers can enjoy the day and shelter from sun, rain, hail or snow.
The food, wines, and beverages featured are predominantly from the local Kaikoura, Marlborough, and Canterbury regions, with guest appearances from Nelson and the West Coast.
