Join the Jack Daniel's worldwide barrel hunt

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of their US distillery, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has announced the start of a global scavenger hunt.
Starting at the home of the distillery in Lynchburg on July 1st, the Jack Daniels Barrel Hunt will see 150 barrels hidden in more than 50 countries – with four making their way to New Zealand.
While the hunt's on from July until September, you can find clues on the New Zealand Jack Daniel’s Facebook page to help track down the hidden whiskey barrels. Get the clues right, and you'll be in with a chance to win unique prizes, specially designed for the anniversary. Clues tied to the history of each region will be provided on the day of each local hunt and barrels will be opened when the first person to arrive with the right barrel password.
Each hidden barrel was handcrafted from the distillery and used to mature Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey before being turned into a prize. For example, one of these is an original, one-of-a-kind bar kit made with white oak. Lucky winners will also receive the authentic Jack Daniel’s barrel they found along with their prize.
