A SNEAK PEEK INSIDE ISSUE 126

Issue 126 hits the shelves Monday, March 30 and we’re so excited to share a sneak peek with you!
We start this issue by revealing some of the things that are on the dish team’s radar, what we’re watching, listening to and reading — our own little entertainment hub. Next up Harry Butterfield makes a clever twist on his Nonna’s Agnolotti while Malissa Fedele reminds us of the importance of fibre in our diets. Then Phoebe Holden fulfils a long-held dream as she sits down with international foodie icon Yotam Ottolenghi to talk all things culinary.
Autumn is such an incredibly abundant time with harvest produce, and we make the most of it with our In Season section turning the spotlight on pumpkin, kūmara, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, feijoas, apples and pears. From there we’re dishing up delicious dinners for two, with something of a brilliant hack with our Chicken Dumpling Lasagne. No rolling of the eyes at a TikTok trend here — this one is bloody brilliant! Then from page 57, Claire Aldous whips up an array of quick and easy, yet utterly delectable, weeknight dinners.
Honouring our mums, we share a recipe that each of the dish team remembers fondly from childhood. And this Mother’s Day we have a chance to recognise the mother figures in our lives by recreating those treasured memories through food.
We’re all about a cheeky twist on a recipe occasionally, but from page 82 we go a more traditional route with Sarah’s Classics. From Beef Wellington to Chicken Florentine these dishes really have stood the test of time. Amelia Ferrier knows her way around a baking bowl, and she sets us a challenge with two stunning treats.
With this issue we encourage you to take a moment to slow down. To enjoy the process of selecting which recipes you’re going to make, the writing of shopping lists and the preparation in the kitchen. And then, of course, the appreciation of the delicious dishes you have created. Yes, the world is hectic and can feel relentless, but there is still the space for this, and times spent together — our not-so-secret antidote of sharing love through food.
