dish would love for you to join us for a very special evening at one of Ponsonby’s most beloved establishments – Farina – for a delicious five-course Italian inspired meal prepared by head chef and owner, Sergio Maglione, on Wednesday 12th March.
To complement the five courses, dish is delighted to partner with Villa Maria to showcase a selection of their Reserve and Single Vineyard wines.
With a 60-year legacy, Villa Maria’s portfolio is one of the most geographically and stylistically diverse range of premium wines by any New Zealand producer. At this Dine with dish event, you will explore wines that are rich, complex, and age-worthy, showcasing the potential of their vineyard sites in Hawkes Bay and Marlborough. Each Villa Maria pairing will be distinctive, and most importantly, delicious.
Farina has been a mainstay on Ponsonby Road since 2014; loved by locals and visitors alike, the restaurant showcases genuine Italian street food, handmade pasta, and Neapolitan wood-fired pizza in a vibrant and relaxed setting. The name “Farina” (Italian for “flour”) reflects the importance of high-quality ingredients in Italian cooking, particularly for pizza and pasta.
The combination of traditional techniques, high-quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere continues to define the restaurant, and the newly renovated space has further enhanced the dining experience!
We are excited to showcase an entirely bespoke menu for this event, delivering a unique Farina experience for all.
