True South Dining Room’s mouth-watering menus harness fresh, local New Zealand flavours with French and English fusion recipes and seasonal produce sourced from local suppliers. Hosted by The Rees Hotel's Mark Rose and wine legend and owner of Quartz Reef, Rudi Bauer, guests will sample an outstanding array of unique wines. Rudi’s Austrian heritage and two decades of winemaking experience, give Quartz Reef wines further dimension and variety. The Pinot Noir is the spirit of Central Otago while the Pinot Gris takes on a rich, dry, textured flavour.
Quartz Reef is situated in one of New Zealand’s top wine regions, Central Otago and was named in Dish magazine’s Top 12 New Zealand Sparkling Wines. During this coveted event, guests will enjoy five delicious courses, matched to six Quartz Reef wines. To make the evening even more memorable, diners will receive a first-taste of an unsampled Quartz Reef wine.
