As Toast celebrates its 30th year, the 2023 festival promises to be truly memorable.
Festival-goers are welcomed to indulge on a journey across eight stunning festival sites. Featuring twelve local vineyards, fourteen fantastic eateries and twenty-five talented musicians, it promises to be a day of pure delight among the vines.
With the introduction of exclusive VIP experiences, festival-goers now have the opportunity to elevate their Toast experience and delve even deeper into the splendour of Martinborough's wines.
Palliser Estate VIP experiences
Escape the hustle and bustle and take your Toast experience to the next level. Taste esteemed library wines, including the acclaimed Decanter World Wine Awards Best in Show Single Vineyard Hua Nui Pinot Noir. Chat with Palliser winemaker & viticulturist, Guy McMaster. Savour antipasto from Palliser Kitchen. Those that wish to enhance their experience even further can opt for an exclusive wine and food tasting session with Dish Wine Writer Yvonne Lorkin and Palliser Winemaker & Viticulturist Guy McMaster.
Ata Rangi Vintage Room
Indulge in an exclusive Vintage Room experience at Ata Rangi – the ultimate oasis at Toast Martinborough. Winemaker, Helen Masters and Master of Wine, Stephen Wong will be on hand to share their intimate knowledge about Ata Rangi. Enjoy a curated selection of Vintage wines, accompanied by freshly shucked oysters and other raw delicacies that perfectly complement the aged wines.
The Runholder Lounge
Settle into the luxury of The Runholder Lounge nestled on the edge of the Martinborough Terrace. Soak up spectacular views. Discover iconic wines with tastings led by winemakers, John Kavanagh of Te Kairanga or Paul Mason of Martinborough Vineyard. Indulge in a complimentary grazing table with local cheese and charcuterie.
