A F.A.W.C!ing hot offering!

Please note that the Summer F.A.W.C! has been postponed until January 28 - February 6, 2022. Ticket holders who cannot attend on the rescheduled dates will receive a refund, with organisers to be in touch with ticket holders over the coming weeks to confirm new event dates or process refunds.

For 10 days every November, Hawke’s Bay’s award-winning winemakers, chefs, producers and artisans roll out the red carpet for foodies from all over New Zealand as they show off the incredible talent that resides in New Zealand’s Food and Wine Country.  

This year marks 10 years since the festival came to be, and with tickets being snapped up like hot cakes, dish has the inside scoop on where to spend your money.  

Hawke’s Bay Wine Car Boot Party  

November 5 - Tomoana Showgrounds, Hastings  

Rev your engines because the Hawke’s Bay Wine Car Boot Party is back for a second year, more “souped-up” than ever! More than 40 Hawke’s Bay wineries will roll into the Waikoko Gardens and park-up ready to pour an amazing selection of their finest wines. Set in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay showground, this is your chance to discover the award-winning drops from this iconic wine region.  

Taittinger Oyster & Whitebait Street Bar 

November 6 - Advintage, Havelock North  

The Advintage car park bar is back for Summer FAWC! Expect sharply priced glasses of Champagne Taittinger, a street bar stocked with delicious Hawke’s Bay wines, renowned Chef Martin Bosley shucking fresh oysters, and the Advintage crew banging out whitebait sandwiches.  

Picnic, Wine and Flick 

November 13 - Te Awanga Estate  

Dust off the picnic rugs and pop the corn! Te Awanga Estate + Picnic Cinema present the first ever outdoor movie experience on the Te Awanga Estate winery lawn. Pick your picnic spot on the gently sloping lawn at Te Awanga Estate and settle in for an evening of wine, food and one of our all-time faves: the feel-good movie ‘Chef’.  

Of the Ocean  

November 13 - Scenic Hotel Te Pania  

Of the Ocean is a special showcase of Hawke’s Bay’s incredible seafood bounty. Living by the coast has always held a special place in the hearts of Hawke’s Bay locals, and this is your chance to experience exactly why that is. Scenic Hotel Te Pania’s brigade of chefs will share local stories of the ocean through this specially crafted menu, with every dish in their five-course menu matched perfectly to a wine from Villa Maria. 

Cider, Sunday & Pies  

November 14 - Zeffer Cider  

Following on from the New Zealand Cider Festival the day before, you'll find the team at Zeffer along with a few of their fellow cidermakers hosting the ultimate Sunday session - cider, pies, Kubb and live music.
