Celebrity chef Manu Feildel gets Dinner Done with Ingham’s chicken

Celebrity chef Manu Feildel loves cooking with chicken, which is a favourite in French cuisine, and can also be thrown on the BBQ, tossed in a salad, baked in an oven, or crisped in an air fryer.
Manu’s passion for poultry and understanding of the everyday juggle (work, school, life, dinner, repeat) has seen him team up with leading poultry producer, Ingham’s – which is the first company in NZ to have all its farms 100% SPCA Certified, meeting rigorous animal welfare standards – to create a range of delicious recipes to get Dinner Done with ease, speed and great taste.
Manu created his Ingham’s Dinner Done recipes to appeal to the whole household, ranging from those to cook like a chef at home – like Manu’s French-Style Roast Butterflied Chicken, which includes tips and tricks on how to butterfly a chicken – to recipes to get the kids involved, created by Manu with the help of his 8-year-old daughter Charlee.
Kid-tested recipes by Manu and Charlee include Tempura Chicken Nugget Lettuce Cups (cos lettuce leaves filled with vermicelli noodles plus thinly sliced veggies, topped with Ingham’s Tempura Chicken Nuggets and drizzled with dressing), and Mexi-Bean Loaded Chicken Chipees (Ingham’s Chicken Chipees topped with kidney beans, corn, salsa and grated cheese, baked, scattered with halved cherry tomatoes plus coriander, then served with guacamole and sour cream)… even the littlest cooks can get involved and will be licking their plate clean!
Also inspired by junior chefs, Tempura Chicken Nugget Tacos with Corn and Avocado Salsa are a Mexican-themed meal the whole crew will enjoy – and can be taken to greater culinary heights by substituting nuggets with seasoned chicken strips. Manu’s zesty salsa comprises corn, avocado, tomato, red onion, and coriander mixed with Mexican spice blend, olive oil and lime juice.
For easy entertaining, Manu’s Asian Cabbage Salad with Chicken Tenders and Dipping Sauces includes an Asian-inspired chicken salad recipe together with three delicious chicken-dipping sauce recipes – teriyaki (soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, grated ginger, garlic cornflour), French aioli (garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, egg, olive oil, cornflour), and Japanese sauce (kewpie mayonnaise, soy sauce, sesame seeds, sesame oil, green spring onion, fresh ginger).
And for simple set and forget, centre-table sharing, Manu’s Chicken Tray Bake with Corn Slaw and Chicken Tenderloins Tray Bake are the winning ticket.
