This Sydney-based Café has Made the Perfect Artisanal Eco-Coffee-Pod for a Guilt-Free Brew

We're fans of delicious coffee, but we want it fast and we are conscious of the environmental impact of coffee pods. So we are stoked that a Sydney café we love has started producing their own artisanal eco-pods for the NZ market!

Maggio’s premium coffee flavours include Intenso (strong blend) and Classico (medium blend) made with beans sourced from Colombia, Brazil and India.  The stylish pastel packaging portrays its rich Italian heritage, setting itself apart from the other coffee brands on the shelf, so you won’t have trouble finding it.

Not only are Maggio’s coffee pods stylish, they’re also the most environmentally friendly.  Made with cutting edge technology from renewable resources, Maggio’s coffee pods are biodegradable and compostable, breaking down within 84 days*   These paper based coffee pods are the cleanest and most biodegradable on the market.   In those 84 days, the whole pod can be fully composted and broken down in an industrial facility. A vast improvement on the reported 500 years it can take for a plastic or aluminium pod to do the same.
