Mexico Food & Liquor's Latest Look
Many of us are already familiar with Mexico Food & Liquor, with 10 restaurants across the country that have been serving up delicious Mexican street food, fused with modern flavours since 2012.
But now, the Britomart flagship restaurant is embracing a fresh wave of elegance and sophistication as they unveil their stunning rebuild.
We spent an evening discovering the new menu and weren’t shy to exploring the new margaritas for you either!
The new space still boasts everything we’ve come to love about Mexico, which celebrates the colourful, fresh, and lighter side of Mexican cuisine. Much like the streets of Mexico, the menu is designed to share and frequently changes with what’s in season. However, don’t worry, you can always rely on their signature fried chicken with jalapeño and chipotle mayo, flavour-packed tacos, and their dreamy churros with velvety dulce de leche.
But alongside these old favourites are exciting new additions like butterfly prawns with chipotle and lime butter, fish ceviche with melon, pomegranate and chilli, and elotes corn ribs with blackened onion crema.
Located at 23 Britomart Place, Mexico Food & Liquor is now open 7 days from 11:30am to late.
And if it’s more than a casual dinner with friends that you’re after, you definitely need to check out the new mezzanine area which is available for private functions, OR a Margarita Masterclass where you can learn how to make margs like a pro!
