A Guide to Eating and Drinking in August
August is for eating, or so the many food related events taking place across the country this month would suggest. Here's our round up of some of the best!
In the Northern Hemisphere, the grim depths of winter are embraced and transformed by the warming Christmas celebrations that interjet half-way through . In New Zealand, we don't have as good an excuse to indulge thoroughly mid-winter, though this is slowly starting to change thanks to increasingly innovative and in turn popular food events and festivals.
Some of the festivities have already kicked off, with Auckland Restaurant Month in the Heart of the City launching last week, but there are still plenty of amazing events to catch over the next three weeks across the country.
