Host a BBQ to Support Kiwi Kids with Cancer
Photography by Jodie James.

The Great Kiwi BBQ is back! Gather your friends, family or colleagues this summer and raise money to help kids with cancer.
Every week in New Zealand, three families are told the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer. Child Cancer Foundation is committed to supporting them every step of the way, but they need your help.
Child Cancer Foundation connects each newly diagnosed family with a dedicated Family Support Coordinator, who provides them with one-to-one support in the specific areas they need it. They don’t receive any funding from the government, however, so they rely on the generosity of Kiwis to help these children and their families.
That’s why every dollar raised for The Great Kiwi BBQ makes a difference. In 2021 Kiwis raised over $69,000 – and Child Cancer Foundation would love your help to make it bigger and better than ever in 2022!
Eli, diagnosed age seven, enjoys a BBQ with his family.
Taking part is fun and easy. Simply sign up by clicking here and invite your friends and family to share a barbie and ask for a donation to Child Cancer Foundation – that's it! We have plenty of recipe inspiration here to get your fundraising off to a cracking start.
Whether you host a backyard barbie, a beachside picnic or a sausage sizzle at work, the funds and awareness you raise will make a massive difference for Kiwi families going through the toughest time in their lives.
One lucky fundraiser will also be in to WIN a Masport Maestro Gas BBQ valued at $899. Every $50 you raise will receive an extra entry in the draw to win!
Remember to help spread the word on social media by sharing photos and videos of your fundraiser using the hashtag #GreatKiwiBBQ and tagging @ChildCancerFoundationNZ on Facebook and @ChildCancerFoundation on Instagram.
