Nahm tops Asia's 50 Best

Chef David Thompson's Bangkok restaurant Nahm has won the title of 'Asia's Best Restaurant'...
The results of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards have been announced in Singapore, with Nahm in Bangkok earning the title of 'The San Pellegrino Asia's Best Restaurant'. Opened in 2010, the Bangkok restaurant was also named 'The S. Pellegrino Best Restaurant in Thailand'.
Nahm is helmed by Australian-born chef David Thompson, who is renowned for his Thai food. At Nahm he celebrates the bold flavours of authentic Thai cuisine by reviving and reinterpreting centuries-old recipes of former Thai matriarchs.
Nahm was ranked No.3 at the inaugural Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards in 2013; the restaurant gained global attention when it first appeared on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2012 at No.50, jumping to No.32 a year later. The restaurant is located within luxury Bangkok hotel Metropolitan by COMO.
It is the second year of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards. The results of 'The World's 50 Best Restaurants' will be announced in London in April. For more visit www.theworlds50best.com
