Photos from our Set, Style, Serve: Making Food Look Beautiful event with Fisher & Paykel and Citta Design.
For the last little while Dish has been working on a very special event with Citta Design and Fisher & Paykel. Last week, 'Set, Style, Serve: Making Food Look Beautiful' came to fruition; 40 guests gathered in Ponsonby Central's Sapphire Room to see food writer and photographer Kelly Gibney demonstrate how to prepare a delectable four-course summer feast amid a series of stunning table settings.

On the morning of the event, the team arrived bright and early to set-up and the rooms grew more beautiful as the day went on...
Guests began arriving at 6.30pm and were greeted by Citta Design's stunning formal setting, and the festive smell of Muck Floral's hanging Christmas 'tree'.

To start, we enjoyed canapés of Roasted Beetroot and Walnuts with Goat’s Cheese and Pistachios...

...Followed by Ceviche with Dill, Lime and Radish.

We then moved through to be seated as sun lit up the beautiful tables adorned with homeware from Citta Design. The incredible spring flowers were all thanks to the talented floral artist Sophie Wolanski of Muck Floral.

Kelly prepared four dishes in the Fisher & Paykel Social Kitchen, chatting to Dish Editor Lisa Morton all the while...

Thanks to Nautilus Estate, each of Kelly's tasty dishes also had its very own beautiful wine match.

After decorating our own desserts (bite-sized tarts topped with luscious, fresh berries) we left with a goodie box filled with treats as well as Kelly's recipes from the evening.

We all agreed it was a perfect way to kick off the festive season – full of fresh inspiration, gorgeous wine and delectable food.
