Sake know-how at Masu
Photography by Michael Bradley.

The art of sake etiquette is now available to diners at Auckland restaurant Masu...
Sake is an integral part of Japanese dining and now award-winning restaurant Masu at SkyCity is offering sake appreciation as part of its dining experience.
Guests who book the restuarant's OBI Room (the semi-private dining room) can opt to add a sake appreciation upgrade for just $35 per person. Before food is served, diners learn the intricacies of nihonshu – the traditional beverage commonly known as sake. It includes the tasting flight of three premium sakes as well as topical and anecdotal discussion points.
The OBI Room is limited to 18 guests. For bookings phone MASU Japanese Robata Restaurant & Bar on 09 363 6278.
