The enjoyment of baking is one activity that has stood the test of time and seems to span any age, making it a fun activity for parents and children to do together. The key is to find a recipe that is simple enough for your children to assist with – remember it’s not the time to try out a chocolate soufflé or multi-coloured macarons. Rather opt for tasty treats that your child can assist with. Keep in mind measuring can be messy and hard for kids so one tip is to pre-measure all the ingredients first and put them in bowls so your little one gets to do the most satisfying part – dumping them straight into the mix.
