Kenwood New Zealand Have Launched a New Limited Edition Metallic kMix Range
The new range is available in rose gold, chrome, black chrome and yellow gold and has a huge 1000W of mixing power for even the most difficult doughs.
Kenwood was founded in 1947, and you'd be hard pressed to find a Kiwi who doesn't recognise the iconic kMix kitchen machines from the kitchens of their childhood.
But modern kitchens are getting smaller and smaller. Space is at a premium and kitchen implements need to earn their place by being modern, beautiful and functional. The new range of kMixes fit that bill. They're sleek, without leaving behind the classic look that they're known for.
And of course the reliability of the mixers remains. The kMix has 1000W of planetary mix action so that the mixer maintains speed and power, even with thick doughs and batters.
The three stainless steel bowl tools (K-Beater, whisk and dough hook) can all be set at six variable speeds and there is even a fold function. Plus, the 5L stainless-steel bowl has an ergonomic handle and is dishwasher safe.
Of course, as keen bakers, the dish team each have our favourites of the new kMix colours. Our Editor Sarah Tuck likes the warm tones of the rose gold, Art Director Bridget Daulby is a fan of the classic, silvery look of the chrome. Business Development Manager Karrin MacLeod loves the black chrome - a perfect fit for her black kitchen. Digital Editor Alex Blackwood reckons the yellow gold would be a sunny addition to weekend baking.
