Dine with Dish - Thornbury Wines at Saan

Join us for a very special night with Thornbury Wines at Auckland preeminent Thai restaurant Saan.
The evening will be hosted by Dish food editor Claire Aldous and by Thornbury winemaker, Simon Fell, who will guide diners through the food and wine matches. The five-course menu will be designed and executed by Saan’s head chef Lek Trirattanavatin. Lek specialises in innovative and award-winning cuisine from the Lanna and Isaan regions of Thailand. Each course will be matched with a special selection of Thornbury wines.
Thornbury winemaker Simon Fell has been crafting Thornbury wines since 2006. Prior to Thornbury, Simon’s passion for wine has seen him working on vintages around the world, in Oregon, Bordeaux, Chile and the Napa Valley.
Simon’s extensive knowledge of climates and soils has resulted in sourcing grapes for Thornbury wines from five of New Zealand’s greatest wine regions: chardonnay in Gisborne; sauvignon blanc in Marlborough; merlot and rosé in Hawke's Bay; riesling and pinot gris in Waipara and pinot noir in Central Otago.
Saan’s menu for the Dine with Dish event promises to be a unique experience of premium wines matched to fantastic food. Don’t miss out – seats are limited so book early.
