The Great FitzRoy Mussel Fest
Mussels from the clear waters of Great Barrier Island are freshly harvested for this annual celebration. From 10am, the Boat Club will be alive with food stalls and entertainment. A cover charge of $10 for adults applies.
Running alongside the Mussel Fest is the Family Festival on the Port FitzRoy Landing Reserve. Alcohol free, with food stalls, local crafts stalls and local produce stalls and family entertainment all day. Run by the North Barrier Residents and Ratepayers Association, the event is totally free.
