Winetopia presented by Singapore Airlines
The country's best wineries are set to visit Auckland for Winetopia – a day of beautiful wine and delicious food.
With 673 wineries spread the breadth of the country, in just a few decades New Zealand wine has changed our landscape, our reputation and our palates. Now, just after this year’s grape harvest, winemakers will be heading to Auckland for a new national wine celebration from 20 – 21 May – and you're invited.
Winetopia presented by Singapore Airlines takes place at Shed 10 on Queens Wharf and will boast some of the best wineries from every region of the country. Our own Master of Wine Bob Campbell will be joined by Australian wine guru Nick Stock, plus a host of wine makers, sommeliers and wine-loving personalities. They will host special tastings, food and wine matching classes and share their love of the New Zealand wine scene. Hopetoun Brown will play a live set at the finish of each session.
There are three different sessions you can choose from:
- Friday 20 May – 5pm to 8.30pm
- Saturday 21 May – 12pm to 3.30pm
- Saturday 21 May – 4.30pm to 8:00pm
Some delectable food matches will be available from award winning artisans and as the name suggests – Winetopia will be heaven for anyone with a love of wine. See www.winetopia.nz for tickets and information.
Winetopia presented by Singapore Airlines is created by Lemongrass Productions – the team behind the Taste of Auckland Festival and Restaurant Month in the Heart of the City.
