Café L'affare partner with Eat My Lunch

Coffee roasters Café L'affare have partnered with Eat My Lunch to create a delicious new menu item in their Auckland eatery – they're also moving in together to a new space in Wellington...
We're a little enamoured by L'affare Melrose, the coffee company's new Auckland outpost, and their new charity initiative has just added another reason to pay L'affare a visit.
L’affare Melrose, Luke Adams, has worked with chef and Eat My Lunch co-founder Michael Meredith on a winter dish. Each time someone purchases their Grilled Chicken with Broccoli, Edamame and Wasabi L’affare will donate a lunch to a hungry kiwi kid through Eat My Lunch, as part of their clever "Buy One Give One" campaign.

Inspired by Michael’s recent trip to Japan, this dish will be offered at L’affare Melrose during July. You'll find them at 22 Melrose Street in Newmarket.
Taking this partnership even further, L'Affare have also just announced their Wellington flagship café is on the move and their new King Street space will also house a kitchen and distribution hub for Eat My Lunch. They'll be taking over a 1960s building which will house their entire production operation and as well as a state-of-the-art coffee testing testing lab and training facility.
The first chance you have to get a glimpse of the new space will be during their Wellington On a Plate event Café Gourmand, which you can find out more about here: www.visawoap.com.
