Lighthouse Barrel Aged Gin
Martinborough’s original craft gin distillery has revealed their new Lighthouse Barrel Aged Gin. Golden, fragrant, and slightly savoury, it’s the perfect sipper or an elevated Gin & Tonic. Distiller Rachel Hall spent four years perfecting this rare addition before declaring it “good as gold.”
“Martinborough Vineyard is our neighbour, so naturally we get together for a drink every now and then. That got us onto some experimentation,” says Rachel. She took their award-winning London Dry Gin and imbued it with the character and exquisite colour of Martinborough Vineyard’s retired Pinot Noir barrels. The result is a plush, moreish gin with underlying notes of spice.
Available at your local liquor store, or straight from the distillery at lighthousegin.co.nz
