Marinated Strawberries

INGREDIENTS
For each serving allow the following quantities:
enough roughly chopped strawberries to fill a serving glass
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon orange liqueur
1 teaspoon cognac or brandy
red wine to fill the glass
METHOD
Place the strawberries in tall serving glasses and sprinkle with sugar. Pour on the orange liqueur and cognac then add enough red wine to cover the strawberries.
Leave to infuse for 15 minutes before serving.
