After a four-year product development hiatus, multi-award-winning family-owned business Clevedon Buffalo Co is bringing two tasty new cheese options to market.
The first is the Clevedon Buffalo Co Whipped Cream Cheese, which recently won a Gold in the Fresh Unripened category at the NZ Champions of Cheese Awards.
This versatile cream cheese promises a buttery spreadable texture with a tart, salty smooth finish. It can be used instead of butter to bring something extra special to sandwiches and pairs beautifully with celery, snow peas, cucumber or carrots as a healthy snack. The spreadable cheese also lends itself to crêpes, pancakes, omelettes and baked eggs, and is the perfect base for delicious dips when mixed with herbs or smoked salmon.
Another new addition to the range is the Clevedon Buffalo Co Spiced Orange Marinated Buffalo Cheese.
The cheese is the third innovation in the marinated range, joining the Garlic & Thyme and Chilli & Lime flavours on the shelves. A mix of spices and bay complement the dominant orange flavour of this soft, spreadable cheese, which can also be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
All the products in the Clevedon Buffalo Co range are natural, handmade and suitable for people who have difficulty digesting cheese or yoghurt made from cow’s milk.
The Clevedon Buffalo Co Spiced Orange Marinated Cheese comes in a 300g reuseable glass jar and has a RRP of $18.00.
The Clevedon Buffalo Co Whipped Cream Cheese comes in a 150g reuseable glass jar and has an RRP of $11.50.
Both new products are available now and can be found every Sunday morning at the Clevedon Village Farmers Market. It’s stocked at Farro Fresh stores Auckland wide, Sabato (Auckland), Island Grocer (Waiheke), Moore Wilson’s (Wellington & Masterton), Fresh Choice Merivale and Royalburn Farm Shop (Otago). Online orders are also available via The Cheese Wheel.
