Free-range favourite Bird on a Wire have moved into a beautiful, expansive new space in Ponsonby Central.
From bright and early breakfasts to an evening drink, Bird on a Wire's newest space offers something for everyone, any time of day.
Their Early Bird Breakfast Menu features delicious options like the Omelette with leek, caramelised onion and ricotta Hot Smoked Salmon, with caper lemon mayo, watercress, avocado and sourdough toast; the Breakfast Board comes with eggs any style, hot smoked salmon or bacon, tomato & feta salad, avocado and toast. Fresh juices and and smoothies are also great summer options.
From 10.30, the Bird on a Wire menu is available, offering a rolling selection of eight seasonal vegetarian salads alongside free-range rotisserie and fried chicken as well as sandwiches and sides. The Chicken Feasting Menu offers an option for those looking to share a meal, while their wine and beer menu focuses on local vineyards and breweries.
While the beautiful, plant-filled space is well worth a visit, those short on time can make the most of their takeaway counter or even the delivery options now available thanks to a new partnership with Urban Sherpa.
