A night of luxury at O'Connell St Bistro
A night of premium Champagnes and sensational food is on offer at Auckland's O'Connell St Bistro
Lovers of fine Champagne and exquisite food won't want to miss a very special dinner at O’Connell St Bistro in Auckland. On May 9th the restaurant is offering a five course menu designed especially to match with Champagnes from Louis Roederer - including the iconic Cristal.
Louis Roederer is one of the last great independent and family-run Champagne houses, and diners will learn about the finer points of Champagne and food matching at the exclusive dinner in the restaurant's private dining room. Each of the five courses, matched with Brut, Rose and Demi Sec wines will be introduced with an explanation of the Champagne and the matching dish.
Diners will also experience a particularly special dish matched with Cristal, a Champagne created at the request of Tsar Alexander II of Russia and one of the world’s most famous and highly respected prestige cuvées.
The evening will be hosted by O'Connell St Bistro owner Chris Upton and Eurovintage representative Ben Longhurst.
